• Health & Wellness Data: Water intake, sleep hours, steps, meditation minutes, reading time, and weight — only if you choose to log them in the Productivity feature.
• Usage Data: How you interact with matches, connections, and features within the app.
• Device Information: Device type, operating system, and push notification tokens (FCM).
• Communications: Messages sent between users within the app.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account
• Generate algorithmic match recommendations between users
• Send push notifications about matches, connections, and activity
• Verify your phone number via SMS (Twilio Verify)
• Generate AI-powered features (bio generation, intro drafting, co-creation suggestions) using Anthropic’s API
• Calculate XP, achievements, and leaderboard rankings within the Productivity gamification system
• Process referral rewards and track accountability partner progress
• Improve and personalize the Service
• Communicate with you about updates and promotions

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

• Supabase — Database, authentication, and storage (supabase.com)
• Twilio Verify — Phone number verification via SMS (twilio.com)
• Firebase (Google) — Push notifications via FCM (firebase.google.com)
• Anthropic — AI-powered features including bio generation and match suggestions (anthropic.com)
• Vercel — Web application hosting (vercel.com)

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

• With other users: Your profile information (name, industry, bio, social metrics) is visible to other CrossPollen users for matching and networking purposes.
• With service providers: As listed above, to operate the Service.
• Legal requirements: If required by law or to protect our rights.
• Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

5. Health & Wellness Data

Health and wellness data you enter in the Productivity section (water, sleep, steps, etc.) is stored securely and is never shared with other users or third parties. It is used solely to power your personal Productivity dashboard, accountability partner features, and achievement tracking.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at crosspollen@mottoz.com. Upon deletion, your data will be removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

8. Children’s Privacy

CrossPollen is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Opt out of marketing communications
• Data portability

10. Push Notifications

We send push notifications for match activity, connection requests, accountability partner updates, and achievement unlocks. You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings.
